The
International Programs Department is committed to helping communities
that have been uprooted by conflict or natural disasters to take
control of their futures and rebuild and maintain healthy, prosperous
lives for themselves and their families. ARC takes a cross-sectoral,
integrated approach that fosters community and individual leadership
and local solutions.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The American Refugee Committee (ARC) has an immediate opening for a newly established position, Senior Vice President of International Programs, located in the Minneapolis office. The Senior Vice President will provide executive leadership to ARC’s international program functions and give direction to the formation of program goals, playing a key role in ensuring that financial and operational objectives are met.
The Midwest Coalition for Human Rights is a network of organizations collaborating to promote and protect human rights in our Midwest region, in the United States, and internationally. Working together we provide broader visibility for urgent human rights issues in the Heartland and project a strong Midwest advocacy voice in the national and international human rights debate. The Coalition was founded as a result of the serious human rights violations occuring in the United States and around the world.
